The above question has baffled theologians for centuries. Clearly, beer is the moral, ethical, and spiritual superior to wine. So why did Jesus choose to turn water into wine instead of beer? I believe the answer is obvious. Who drinks beer the most? The Irish, English and Germans. Where did Jesus live? In the middle east -- an area not generally associated with high quality beer. Had Jesus been born in Dublin or Munich, I believe the story would have been very different.
But don't take my word for it. Let's hear from Martin Luther, founder of Protestantism and noted alocoholic, who said “Whoever drinks beer, he is quick to sleep; whoever sleeps long, does not sin; whoever does not sin, enters Heaven! Thus, let us drink beer!” I couldn't have said it better.
Want to know more about beer? Who doesn't! Beer is God's gift to man. We must study this gift intently, with devotion, and always singing God's praise for providing hops, yeast, and grains to make it possible.
